If you haven’t taken the jump into Bullet Journaling – I wanted to share my 6 top reasons for you to start one, today! There is no time like the present to start focusing on your individual needs.
Reasons To Start:
🧠 Organization
If you keep notes, to-do lists, and ideas in a bunch of different places, Bullet journals are a great way to bring it all together.
🪞 Self-reflection
I’ve never really been one for long-form journaling, but I’ve come to find short form reflection really helpful. Setting a monthly intention for yourself gives you something to focus on for the next few weeks. Taking time to think about what you need to work on, and what you’d like to work on, helps set up intentional areas to put your time.
⭐️ Goal Setting
Your monthly intentions are a great place to set short-term goals. But you can also track yearly, quarterly, or monthly goals for yourself.
⏰ Time Management
Similar to Goal tracking, time management can take on different forms in your bullet journal. For example, I track my own and my team’s capacity in my Bullet journal as a way to understand how we are using our time.
📘 Customization
If you can’t find a planner you like – make your own. This is the one thing that I love the most about a blank notebook. Whether you are following the Bullet Journal Method or your own approach, you can set up your notebook any way that you want.
🎨 Creativity
It’s up to you if you want to add any type of creativity into your Bullet Journal. I think a great reason to add any type of creativity to your journal is if you have a personal goal to improve on a skill.
